Keypad / Buttonpad ⌨
You need to own this item to leave a rating.
This is a two part script that will let you to detect when any button on the mesh is clicked, and check for different key combinations like a passcode checker. It supports up to 120 different buttons (potentially a full keyboard), and up to 60 different saved combinations. This is essentially good for keypads, or any mesh with buttons. No need for multiple objects! No more green highlights because of interaction scripts!
To create a button on the mesh, create a NEW volume, inside a NEW container, and shape/place the volume however you like. Then use the 'Volume Detector' subscript (from the dropdown) to detect the volume when clicked, though it will be the container's name that will be detected. You can rename the containers however you like, and don't use the default containers that came with the mesh (you will have odd results if you do).
* I allow buyers to resell this script as part of their own products, but not as a standalone script
