Here is a Day night Cycle running over 24 minuets, the light fades in in the morning to full light and fades out to night, with this your shadows will move across the ground.

Before you put this in your scene remove the original directional light

When you put this in your world Change the X and Y Location to 0 and put it at a good height above your experience.
